On November 6, 2025, Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of 833,000 Peloton Original Series Bike+ Model PL02. (www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2026/Peloton-Recalls-Original-Series-Bike-Exercise-Bikes-Due-to-Fall-and-Injury-Hazards.) This recall involves Peloton Original Series Bike+ units, with model number PL02 and serial numbers beginning with the letter “T” due to a hazard involving the bike’s seat post assembly which can break during use, posing fall and injury risks to the user.
The bike’s serial number can be found inside the front fork, behind the front fork, or behind the flywheel. Additional information to help locate your Bike+ serial number is available here.
